Jevon Michael Lemke, age 17, of Wayside passed away unexpectedly March 25, 2018, following a drowning accident in Fort Morgan, AL.Jevon was born on September 20, 2000 in Cheyenne, WY, son of Christopher Lemke and Carrie Holton. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Wayside Church in Wayside. Jevon was a Junior at Reedsville High School where he participated football, basketball golf, track and band. He was also a member of Alpha Leo and National Honor Society and Zion Lutheran Church. Jevon was a selfless young man who always made time to help others. He always tried to put a smile on everyone's face. Jevon worked at McDonald's in Brillion and in the summer, he also worked at Wander Springs Golf Course in Wayside. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.He is survived by his parents, Chris and Carrie Lemke, Carrie Holton, brothers andsister: Parker Holton, Nolan Lemke, Madison Lemke, and Brady Lemke. His paternal grandparents, Ron and Mary Lemke; maternal grandparents, Nat Holton and Pat Smothermon; Robert and Debbie Solberg. Uncle Tom (Jamie) Lemke, Aunt Heather Lemke, Uncle Bobby Solberg, Uncle Dan (Chris) Solberg and many cousins, relatives and friends.A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, 8378 County Road W, Greenleaf, Village of Wayside. The Rev. Austen Welter will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is assisting the family with arrangements.
