Ardith M. (Temme) Novak

Ardith M. Novak, age 90, of Manitowoc passed away Tuesday evening May 10, 2022, at Harbor View Assisted Living in Manitowoc.

The former Ardith Temme, was born on August 15, 1931, in Algoma, daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Schneider) Temme Sr. She grew up in Manitowoc and was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On April 25, 1951, Ardith was married to Roy L. Novak in Dubuque, IA. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2006. In the past Ardith worked for Imperial Eastman until her retirement. She enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, shopping, and traveling to Florida with Roy. Ardith was a member of St. Francis of Assisi parish.

Survivors include her five children: Linda Menar, Minneapolis, MN, Scott Novak, Algonquin, IL, Barry (Kori) Novak, Manitowoc, Greg (Mary Beth) Novak, Manitowoc, Alex (Andrea) Novak, Frisco, TX; seven grandchildren: Jordan Novak, Nicki Novak, Ashley (Sergio) Mediano, Eric Novak, Megan (Victor) Montezuma, Jake Novak and Tyler Novak; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers: Roger Temme, Manitowoc, Butch Temme, Naples, FL; one sister: Dorothy Voss, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Dorothy Temme Sr., her husband: Roy L. Novak; two brothers: William Temme Jr. and Donald Temme; one sister-in-law: Arlo Temme.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th St., Manitowoc. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with burial of her cremated remains to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
