Betty Pahl Obituary

Betty L. Pahl, age 74, of Two Rivers, peacefully passed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 7, 2021, while surrounded by her loving family at her home.

In Appleton, WI, on September 6, 1946, Marvin and Ada (Clow) Busse joyfully welcomed Betty into this world. Betty graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1964 and married the love of her life, Thomas Pahl, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna, WI, on May 11, 1968. After nearly 25 years of serving in various administrative roles for the security force at Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Betty retired in 2013.

Betty loved life and cherished her family and friends above all. Always welcoming and with a heart of gold, Betty's gift was making everyone feel special. Her angelic smile was contagious and spread joy to all those caught in its radiance. While never wanting for much herself, Betty made every birthday and holiday special for those around her, especially Christmas. Betty's strong faith and hope in God and her positive attitude allowed her to cherish her many blessings and battle through adversities in her life. She modeled uncompromising strength, unwavering faith and unconditional love. While that legacy will live on through her family, her smiles and hugs will be sorely missed.

Betty leaves behind her husband of 53 years: Thomas Pahl, Two Rivers; their children: Vicki (Eric) Barton, Eden Prairie, MN; Chad (Kristina) Pahl, Eagan, MN; Michael (Jodine) Pahl, Crested Butte, CO; Angela (Mike) Behnke, Greenville, WI; eight grandchildren: Andrew, Elizabeth and Matthew Barton, Kaius and Marius Pahl, Hayleigh, Austin and Adalynn Hope Behnke; one sister: Bonnie (Gene) Wolf, Two Rivers; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law:  Larry Stier, James (Leone) Pahl, Robert (Lois) Pahl, Gerald (Mary) Pahl, Clifford (Kathy) Pahl, David (Mary) Pahl, William (Paula) Pahl and Mary (Joe) Zenisek; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Betty was welcomed in heaven by her parents, one sister: Carol Stier and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Robert and Verona Pahl.

The family welcomes you to join in celebrating Betty's life with a service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, officiated by the Rev. William Kilps.  A private burial will take place later at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. Due to the ongoing Pandemic and family health concerns, the family asks that everyone wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
