Betty "Fay" M. Schleh

Betty M. “Fay” Schleh, age 93, a resident of Willowdale Health Services, New Holstein died Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Willowdale Health Services.

Fay was born on November 27, 1928, in St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Joseph and Leona (Garthoeffner) Schleh. She worked for the family meat market for many years until 1970. Fay was also employed as a postal clerk part time in the St. Nazianz Post Office for 32 years and retired in 1988 after working for 3 years in the Manitowoc Post Office. She was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz Lioness Club, St. Nazianz Senior Citizens Meal Site.

Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law: Marjorie (James) Schnell, Sheboygan, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Leona Schleh; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Gerald (Arlene) Schleh, Roman (Margaret) Schleh; one sister and brother-in-law: JoAnn (Jerry) Ryan; one nephew: Jerry Schleh; two nieces: Linda Lenzner, Barb Carpenter.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 212 Church St., St. Nazianz. The Rev. William Brunner will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am.
