Beverly Ann Pump, age 78, of Sacramento, CA, died Monday, April 20, 2020. Beverly was born on October 11, 1942, in Manitowoc, WI, the daughter of James and Gladys (Wergin) Mach, of Manitowoc, WI.
Beverly requested an intimate burial next to her parents in Calvary cemetery in Manitowoc, WI. The family wishes to thank all who helped Beverly attain her dream of living at home with her beloved dog, Benji, until the end of her life.
Beverly graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, WI, and studied Journalism in college. Beverly raised two daughters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Sacramento, California in 2009 to be closer to them. A loving mother and sister, Beverly was an avid reader and an excellent cook, who enjoyed large family gatherings on holidays. Beverly was known for her quick wit and dry humor. She kept her friends and family laughing. Beverly cherished her friends and always maintained contact with them regardless of the distance.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys Mach of Manitowoc, WI, her daughter, Julie Pump, of Sacramento, CA, and a niece, Carrie Mach, of Sioux City, IA.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Nicolette Bautista, of Sacramento, CA, and a brother and sister-in-law Ricky and Ann Mach, of Sioux City, IA. She is also survived by her niece, Sarah Smith (Byron) of Ankeny, IA and their children Keegen, Cameron, and Gabriel, and a nephew, Chad Mach (Jessica) of Sioux City, IA and their children Morrison, Jett and Blake.
