Brian G. De Fere

Brian G. De Fere, age 65, of rural Manitowoc passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 22, 2023, at his residence.

Brian was born on March 4, 1958, in Manitowoc, son of the late Gilbert and Vivian (Fairchild) De Fere. He was a graduate in 1976 of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Brian worked in the maintenance department for Northern Labs for 30 years, retiring this year. He was a member of the Immortals Motorcycle Club. Brian enjoyed raising chickens in his rural residence, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law: Anna (Scott) Peltier, Manitowoc; one grandson: Jose Acosta, Green Bay; one brother and sister-in-law: Scott (Sarah) De Fere, Waukesha; other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Gilbert and Vivian De Fere; infant sister: Cynthia De Fere; his fiancé: Catherine Vogel.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jens Family Funeral Home, 1122 S. 8th St, Manitowoc on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Following visitation there will be a funeral procession to Evergreen Cemetery for burial.
