Carol Cicha Obituary

Carol Gene Eunice Cicha, age 73, of Whitelaw, Wisconsin, peacefully went to be with God on January 7, 2024 at Allouez Parkside Village, Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Carol was born January 9, 1950 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, to the late Eugene and Caroline (Megnes) Peroutka.  She was a 1968 graduate of Mishicot High School  On November 13, 1980 she was united in marriage to Vincent A. Cicha.

Carol had a strong faith in God and enjoyed attending church, church events, gardening, reading, sewing, puzzles, cooking, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and spending time with family and friends. When you visited, she would often welcome you with her famous rhubarb torte or a freshly baked dessert as well as her hospitality. Her family and friends were very important to her and she would often fondly refer to them as “honey child.” Carol also worked at Mirro and was one of the few women that worked at Manitowoc Shipyards and, in a way, paved the way for other women that followed in her footsteps.

Survivors include her husband:  Vincent A. Cicha; her children:  Laura (Mark) Durkee, William (Michele) Tadych, Mark (Jessie) Cicha, and stepchildren: Noel Furger, Kelly (Kasy) Cicha, Vincent Cicha, Jr. and Edward Cicha.

She is fondly remembered as Grandma Carol by her grandchildren:  Mikayla, Luke, Kendra, Jay, Kaden, Dominick, Alex, Tyler, Adison, Charlie, Mia, Morgan, Killian, Sophie, Samantha, Sabrina and Joseph; as well as 13 great grandchildren.

She is further survived by her brothers and sisters:  Dale Peroutka, Malcolm Peroutka, Allan (Barb) Peroutka, Karen (Jim) Parry and Corinne McGrath;

In-laws: Danny (Joyce) Cicha, Dorothy (Donald) Stevens, Margie (Gene) Verdegan, Jim Cicha, Mary Cicha, Kathy Cicha and Renee Peroutka as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Eugene & Caroline Peroutka, parents-in-law Joseph & Anna Cicha, siblings Donald Peroutka, Clyde Peroutka, and in-laws Kay Peroutka, Marlene Peroutka, Donald McGrath, Sharon Cicha, Rudy Cicha, Norbert Cicha, Mildred Cicha, Charles Cicha, Raymond Cicha, and Lawrence Cicha
