Carol LaVerne Krcma

Carol L. Krcma, age 95, a lifelong resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday afternoon, October 17, 2021 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Carol was born on January 9, 1926 in Manitowoc, daughter to the late Leon Peck and Hannah Mielke. She attended local area schools and graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Carol married Gilbert J. Krcma on November 15, 1947 at Sacred Heart Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on November 15, 2018. She worked at Westphal’s for several years. Everyone who knew Carol knows her biggest hobbies were going to estate sales and gardening. Carol truly enjoyed helping everyone!

Survivors include her seven children: John Krcma (Brenda), Thomas Krcma (Robin), David Krcma (Laura) – David recently passed on November 13, 2021, Patricia Nadeau (Kevin), Christopher Krcma (Ellen), Mark Krcma (Judy), Phillip Krcma (Tammy); eight grandchildren: Nicole (Corey) Lodel and their daughter: Shelby, Tyson and his daughter Lilly, Marshal (Sara), Jason (Cindy) Krcma, Parker Nadeau, Chad Krcma and his sons: Jonathan and Rhys, Casey Krcma (Allie), Jennifer (Steven) Siders and their daughters: Kassie (Quentin) Tesarik, Sierra Siders and Savannah Siders, Greg Krcma; she is further survived by her two sisters: Germaine Farell and Lu Dene Decker; other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years: Gilbert Krcma; her parents: Leon Peck and Hannah Mielke; her two younger brothers: Gene Peck and Erling Peck; two brothers-in-law: Robert Farell, Eugene Decker; one sister-in-law: Sandy Peck.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A Graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at  www.lakeshorefamilyfuneralhomes.com
