Carol L. Lyons

Carol L. Lyons, age 77 of Manitowoc passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at ThedaCare Medical Center of Neenah.

The former Carol Sleger was born on September 17, 1947, in Manitowoc, a daughter of the late Jerome and Rose (Yohanek) Sleger. She grew up in Manitowoc and was a 1965 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Carol worked as a receptionist for various companies in the Maniotwoc area. She enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren. Carol was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Parish.

Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law: Christopher (Sabrina) Lyons, Manitowoc, Brett (Suzanne) Lyons, Green Bay; six grandchildren: Alex Lyons, Jenna Lyons, Haiden Lyons, Logan Lyons, Vincent Lyons and Arya Smith; one brother and sister-in-law: Lloyd (Kay) Sleger, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jerome and Rose Sleger.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, June 13, 2025, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. The Rev. David Pleier will Celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment to follow in the Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service until 12:00 Noon.
