Carol M. Schmidtmann

Carol M. Schmidtmann, age 93, of Manitowoc passed away on Friday morning, May 16, 2025, at River’s Bend Health Services in Manitowoc.

Carol was born on July 30, 1931, in Manitowoc County, a daughter of the late Edwin and Lucille (Kretsch) Schmidtmann. Over the years, Carol worked for several companies including Lakeside Packing and the Manitowoc Tinsel Factory.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews: Susan (Brian) Bubolz of Reedsville, Steve Schmidtman and his fiancée Peggy Ney of Kellnersville, Scott Schmidtman of Valders, Sherrie (John) Boettcher of Two Rivers. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edwin and Lucille Schmidtmann; three brothers and one sister-in-law: Roland Schmidtmann, Eugene Schmidtmann, Norman (Anna Mae) Schmidtman.

Cremation will happen at the All-Care Cremation Center in Manitowoc with private graveside services at the Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
