Catherine A. (Schultz) Johnson

Catherine A. Johnson, age 88 of Two Rivers, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at her home.

Catherine was born on May 15, 1936 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Harold and Tillie (Brouchard) Schultz. She was a graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1954. On May 14, 1956, she married Francis E. Johnson in Hilbert, WI. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2017. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Catherine worked at Paragon Electric for a number of years, Norma’s Tot’s To Teens and then Schroeders Department store until retirement. She loved reading, knitting personalized matching Christmas stockings for every family member, and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed playing sheepshead even though she usually had the worst hand ever, and Farkle with her friends on Saturday mornings. Mom also enjoyed going out for lunch with her classmates.

She is survived by three children: Linda (John) Satterburg, Two Rivers, Bob (Martha) Johnson, Two Rivers, Barbara (Tom) Kysar, Wasilla, AK; eight grandchildren: Christopher (Carie) Satterburg, St. Germain, Jeffrey (Erin) Satterburg, Howard, Jeremy (Amber) Satterburg, Sobieski, Kurt (Jenny) Johnson, Manitowoc, Jena (Paul) Rahmlow, Francis Creek, Samantha Johnson, Manitowoc, Quincey (Thomas) Causa, Wasilla, AK, Joe (Jessica) Kysar, Wasilla, AK, fourteen grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother: Marilyn Peltier, McFarland, Paul Schultz, Two Rivers, Marge DePoy, Indianapolis, IN; two sisters-in-law and a brothers-in-law: Sandra (Dan) Klein, Two Rivers, Jake Geimer, Two Rivers, Marlene Schultz, Two Rivers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Harold and Tillie Schultz; husband: Francis E. Johnson; one son: Tom Johnson; one brother: Don Schultz; and in-laws: Wesley Peltier, Richard DePoy, Joan Schultz, Sylvia Geimer, Caroline and Bill Reiland, and Shirley and Fran Lesperance.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers. Rev. David Pleier will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am.
