Charlene Violet Andrews, 92, of Plymouth passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan.
Charlene was born on August 29, 1930 in Plymouth to Olga Wilke. She was a 1948 graduate of Plymouth High School. On November 4, 1950 she married Adrian Andrews, he preceded her in death on October 22, 1976. Over the years, Charlene was a surgical nurse at the Plymouth Hospital, then worked at A&P Cheese, and retiring from Great Lakes Cheese in 1993. Charlene enjoyed knitting, painting, cooking, and traveling all over the world, especially to Switzerland, European countries, and the Caribbean.
Charlene is in survived by her son: Scott Andrews; grandchildren: Ginger (Shane) Dutton, Tami (Buddy) Barrow, and Tari Scheidel; great-grandchildren: Lydia, Elliot, Adrian, and Myles; and cousin-in-law: Darlene Wilke. She is furthered survived by other relatives and friends. Charlene was preceded in death by her mom and step-dad: Olga (Elmer) Davenport; daughters: Jennifer Andrews, Judy Scheidel, and June Hanff; her parents-in-law: Leslie and Verona Andrews; uncle and aunt: Arlan and Elsie Wilke; cousins: Delphin (Delores) Wilke, and Vernon Wilke; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Oliver (Ellen) Andrews, and Joan (John) Meston.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held in the spring at Zion Methodist Cemetery in Batavia.
