Charles "Charlie" Greene

Charles (Charlie) A. Greene, age 82, formerly of Jacksonville, FL passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Hamilton Health Services, Two Rivers, WI.

Charlie was born August 10, 1943 in Jacksonville, son of the late John and Lucille (Buchanan) Greene.  He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School with the Class of 1961.

Charlie retired from Atlantic Beach Police Dept after 25 years was, then employed as a salesman at Jerry Hamn Chevrolet, Nimnicht Chevrolet and as a bailiff at Nassau County Courthouse.

Survivors include:  his companion Holly Johnson, 2 sons Keith (Kat) Greene of Woodstock, GA, Chuck (Giselle) Greene of Shalimar, FL.; grandchildren:  Meghan, Brendan, Sean and Caitlin; sisters:  Charlene (Michael) Lowe of St. Augustine and Sharon (Phil) Crouch of Jacksonville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Charlie is further survived by his two stepsons:  Dan (Emily) Will (and their 5 children), Andy (Abby) Will (and their 3 girls); special friends Adam Fischer, Mike (Abby) Dungey and Bodee.  He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

A graveside service will be held January 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville.  The Rev. Dr. Stephen Hulsey will officiate.
