Charlotte J. (Stone) Wanek

Charlotte J. Wanek, age 85, of Two Rivers formally of Manitowoc passed away on Thursday April 28, 2022, at her home in Two Rivers.

Charlotte was born June 15, 1936, in Mishicot, daughter of the late William and Louise (Assman) Stone. She was a graduate of Washington High School Two Rivers with the class of 1955.

Charlotte was employed at the Metal Ware Corporation for many years retiring in 1996. Charlotte enjoyed sewing, traveling, spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter Sue (Brian) Sherman, Monticello, WI; three granddaughters,’ Sierra, Jenna and Kayla of Monticello, WI; a sister Jeanette Aulik of Manitowoc; as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents William and Louise Stone and a brother-in-law Allen Aulik.

The family of Charlotte would like to thank a special friend and caregiver Sue, and the Aurora Hospice Care staff for allowing mom to pass with dignity in her own home.

To honor Charlotte’s wishes cremation has taken place with burial at a later date.
