Cheryl L. Storzer, age 76, of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Medical Center of Manitowoc.
Cheryl was born on August 14, 1948, in Appleton, a daughter of the late Henry and Irma (Palm) Staedt. She grew up in Appleton and was a graduate of Appleton West High School. On November 30, 1968, Cheryl married Jerome “Jerry” Storzer at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2021. Cheryl worked as a Human Resource Director at Agape of Appleton Inc. for 24 years. She enjoyed playing cribbage.
Survivors include: her two sons and daughters-in-law: Troy (Fawne) Storzer, Reedsville, Ryan (Jenni) Storzer, Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Shawn, Madison, and Kaeden; her siblings: Patty (Steven) Dyreson, New London, Paula Staedt, Appleton, Terry (Janice) Staedt, Appleton; one brother-in-law: Buddy Slizewski, Eagle River; one sister-in-law: Diana Staedt, Appleton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Irma Staedt; her stepmother: Caroline Staedt; her husband: Jerry Storzer; one brother: Thomas Staedt; one sister and brother-in-law: Barbara (Edward) Champeau; one sister-in-law: Judy Slizewski.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Reinbold and Pfeffer Funeral Home of Kellnersville, 1124 Main Street. Burial of her cremated remains will take place at a later date at the Gjerpen Cemetery in the Town of Cato.
