Christina (Tina) Bloom, age 77, of Manitowoc passed away late Saturday evening April 30, 2022, at Bellin Memorial Hospital in Green Bay.
The former Christina Plekan was born on June 14, 1944, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Steve and Emma (Piefer) Plekan. She grew up in Manitowoc and was a 1962 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On August 3, 1963, Tina was married to Keith D. Bloom at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Tina was an avid crafter and enjoyed participating in craft shows.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years: Keith Bloom, Manitowoc; one son and his fiancé: Chris Bloom and Debby Vanderbloomen, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law: Becky (Michael) Rodgers, Manitowoc; four grandchildren: Ava Bloom, Johnathon Bloom, Bridgett (Wayne) Sonneman, and Amber (Roger) Keen; six great grandchildren: Chance, Taya, Mia, Andrew, Nick, and Preston; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Andrew (Linda) Plekan, Manitowoc, David (Debi) Plekan, Hulett, WY, Patrick (Anne) Plekan, Manitowoc; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Peggy Plekan, Manitowoc, Mary (Randy) Bowen, Sturgeon Bay; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including two special crafting cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents: Steven and Emma Plekan; and one brother: John Plekan.
Cremation has occurred at the All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A visitation will occur with relatives and friends calling at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S.14th St, Manitowoc, on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 9:00am until 11:00am. Followed by a luncheon to be served at the All-Care Reception Center across from the Funeral Home. Entombment of Tina’s cremated remains will take place at a later date at the Knollwood Mausoleum.
