Christine M. Schroeder, age 67 of Manitowoc, with saddened hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Christine M. Schroeder at River’s Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
Christine was born on December 25, 1956 in Manitowoc, a daughter of the late Robert and Carol Schroeder. She attended Franklin Elementary, Washington Jr. High School and graduated in 1975 from Lincoln High School. Christine was an animal lover, always needing a pet of some kind, whether it be a dog or cat, a lizard, hedgehog, or tarantula or fish. A day at the beach was one of her favorite things to pass time. She also enjoyed the 141 Speedway as well as wrestling. Christine had a most beautiful heart and along with her love and friendship she had many friends. She always going a step above, she helped many friends when they were in need of a place to stay or food to eat. Doing this when she many times needed help just as much. In other words, she had a heart of gold.
Christine leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter: Wendi (Aaron) Franz; one son: Craig Hermann; two grandsons: Corey and Colin Franz; siblings include: Gerogianne (Robert) Bromley, Wayne Schroeder and Mary Sue Thielen, Suzanne (Thomas) Severson, Tania Sielski, Douglas Schroeder; special friend: Tim Flowers who provided both friendship and love for many years, many other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Carol Schroeder; infant sister: Toni Jo Schroeder; one brother-in-law: Dennis “Howie” Sielski; and many friends and family who left this life far to early.
Cremation has taken place at the All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and a Celebration of Life is being planned for the future.
