Christopher J. Sackett

Christopher J. Sackett, 35, of Sheboygan passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 20, 2022 in Milwaukee.

Christopher was born on January 28, 1987 in Sheboygan a son to John Sackett and Dawn McCandless.  At a young age he moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated from East Kentwood High School.  He later returned to the Sheboygan/Plymouth area.  He had been a paper carrier for the Sheboygan Press and was most recently employed at Wendy’s in Sheboygan.  Chris was independent and took pride in helping others, especially with their lawn work.  He was a great fan of the Packers and Bucks and enjoyed watching wrestling.

Christopher is survived by his two daughters, Izabella and Sofie Sackett of Holt, FL; his father, John Sackett (fiancé, Lisa Peterson) of Sheboygan; his mother, Dawn McCandless of Plymouth and his twin sister, Jessica Gahagan of Plymouth.  Many other family members and friends also survive.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lenore McCandless, Harold McCandless, John H. (Rita) Sackett and Judy Henning.

A funeral service for Christopher will be held at 4 pm, Sunday, May 29 at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Service, 123 South St., Plymouth with Rev. Vicky Guillen officiating.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.  Family and friends may gather to visit with the family on Sunday at the funeral home from 2 pm until the time of service at 4 pm.  Those attending are encouraged to wear Chris’s favorite colors, black, gray and red.
