Dale A. Wilhelm, age 50, a Manitowoc resident passed away at Oshkosh Mercy Medical Center on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, after a courageous battle with aggressive cancer.
Dale was born May 15, 1971 to William Wilhelm and the late Marilyn (Groothoff) Wilhelm in Manitowoc. He worked miscellaneous jobs, mostly in roofing. Dale enjoyed listening to music especially Slayer, music was his life. He also liked animals, loved snacks, especially candy, and doing scratch off tickets. Dale liked wrestling, watching T.V. especially Family Guy and Horror movies. He lived in Memphis, TN for a while, he lived life to the fullest and loved his kids above all else.
Survivors include his two children: Chance Wilhelm and Paris Wilhelm; father: William Wilhelm, brothers: Billy Wilhelm, Benny Wilhelm, Randy Wilhelm, Joe Wilhelm, Chuck Wilhelm, John Wilhelm, and Kenny Wilhelm; sister: Lisa (Robert) Walters; mother of his children: Jill (Larry) Schroeder-Appleby; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his mother: Marilyn (Groothoff) Wilhelm; niece: Vanessa Casper; father-in-law: Allan Schroeder, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with burial to take place at Knollwood Memorial Park. The family will greet relatives on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:30 pm.
