Daniel H. Lehman

Daniel H. Lehman, 75, of Manitowoc passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay.

Dan was born on December 27, 1946, in Manitowoc to Bernard and Agnes (Siebold) Lehman. Dan was a 1965 graduate of Lincoln High School. He served his country in the United States Army from 1967-1969, where he earned two Bronze Stars. Dan was the Executive Director for Manitowoc Housing Authority. Dan was a member of the VFW, an avid Brewers fan, enjoyed bird watching, and doing yardwork.

Dan is survived by three sons: Douglas Lehman, Glendale, AZ, Pete (Jackie) Lehman, Manitowoc, Andrew (Britta) Lehman, Hartland; six grandchildren: Olivia, Jacob, Riley, Rowan, Sam, and George; sister: Diane (Mitz) Beyer, Manitowoc; and two brothers: Daryl (Cindy) Lehman, Manitowoc, and Dale (Karen) Lehman, Manitowoc. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his parents: Bernard and Agnes Lehman; and his sister: Donna (John) Mix.

Dan’s sons would like to extend their warmest and sincerest thank you to the Nursing Staff at Aurora Bay Care for the amazing and compassionate care they provided to their father.  Additionally, the Nursing Staff at Rivers Bend in Manitowoc deserve recognition for the dignity and compassion to which they cared for Dan; they are truly great people.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Dan’s life will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 11:00am at Lakeshore Life Celebration Center, 3613 Waldo Blvd, Manitowoc, with Pastor Aaron Meyer officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00am.  Dan will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum.
