Daniel Alfred Zirk

Daniel A. Zirk, age 64 of Manitowoc, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his residence.

Daniel was born on April 20, 1958, in Manitowoc, son of Stanley and Donna Rae (Boury) Zirk. Daniel graduated from Roncalli High School in 1977. He turned his beloved hobby of coin and card collecting into a career by becoming owner and operator of Manitowoc Card and Coin.

Survivors include his parents: Stanley and Donna Rae Zirk, Manitowoc; brothers: John Zirk, Raymond Zirk, and Andrew Zirk, all of Manitowoc; aunts and uncles: Roland and Joyce Budnar, Larry Boury, Joan Boury, Rodney Zirk, Joanne Pansch, Carl and Jean Zirk; friends Mike Johnson and John Mrotek, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Fred and Vallina Boury; paternal grandparents Paul and Glenn Zirk; aunts and uncles: Lucille and Neal Berres, Maxine and Paul Kramer, Lois and Peter Koller, David Boury, Robert Zirk, Frieda and Merlin Petersen, Shirley and Dale Amberg, Junior Paasch, David Zirk, and good friend Kirk Kopetsky.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc).  Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Randall Budnar. The family will greet family and friends at the church on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
