David J. Krcma age 71 of Manitowoc passed away Saturday November 13, 2021, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee following a brief illness with his loving family at his side.
David was born on December 4, 1949, in Manitowoc, son of the late Gilbert and Carol (Peck) Krcma. He was a 1968 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. David served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1970-1971. On October 1, 1977, David married Laura Lee Baumann at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He was a tool and die journeyman working for the Mirro Foley Company until the time of plant closure in 2001. He retired in 2011 from the Vollrath Company in Sheboygan. David enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife: Laura Krcma, Manitowoc; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Tyson Krcma and his significant other Jennifer Stauffer, Manitowoc; Marshal (Sara) Krcma, Superior; one granddaughter: Lillian Krcma, Manitowoc; one grandchild due in April of 2022; his siblings: Thomas (Robin) Krcma, Manitowoc, Patricia (Kevin) Nadeau, Manitowoc, Christopher (Ellen) Krcma, Marinette, Mark (Judy) Krcma, Two Rivers, John Krcma and his significant other Brenda Froelich, Manitowoc, Phillip (Tammy) Krcma, Manitowoc; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include: Karen Burkart, Cedarburg, Judy Emond, Manitowoc, Patricia (James) Wilda, Grand Blanc, MI, Anton “Tony” (Pat) Baumann, Manitowoc, Sue Lynn (Dennis) Zucchi, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews and other relatives survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Gilbert and Carol Krcma; his mother-in-law: Irene Baumann; two brothers-in-law: Tom Baumann and Wes Emond.
Private Funeral Services were held at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc, Deacon Alan Boeldt officiated; with burial in Evergreen Cemetery and military honors at a later date, in Manitowoc. Online condolences can be submitted at www.lakeshorefuneralhomes.com.
