David A. Jaehnig

David A. Jaehnig, age 75, of Cleveland reunited with his beloved on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Angel’s Touch Assisted Living in De Pere, WI.

David was born on December 7, 1949, in Sheboygan, son of the late Robert and Caroline (Steffen) Jaehnig. He graduated from Kiel High School, Class of 1968. On September 1, 1973, David was united in marriage to Theresa Ann Hetrick at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Theresa preceded him in death on May 2, 2009. David was a lifelong farmer until his retirement in 2014. He enjoyed farming, being around animals, especially his cows & his kitties, fishing, music and going to music concerts.

Survivors include a son: Jesse Jaehnig, Cleveland; a daughter: Ginny Jaehnig, Kiel; a sister Kathy (Tom) Lefeber, Kiel; mother-in-law Madeline Hetrick Peterson, Manitowoc; cousin: Dennis (Marsha) Jaehnig, Templeton, CA; cousin: Dianne Murphy, Lehi, Utah and several nieces & nephews.

David was preceded in death by his wife: Theresa Jaehnig; parents: Robert and Caroline Jaehnig; father-in-law William Hetrick; brother-in-law Michael Hetrick; sister-in-law Sue Ann Delehanty & nephew Robert Delehanty.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Hingiss Park, Kiel from 1-5pm.
