Dawn Marie Meinelt

Dawn Marie Meinelt, 44, of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.

Dawn was born on February 10, 1977 in Two Rivers to James W. Meinelt and Phyllis Levake. Dawn was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers. She then served her country in the United States Army.  Dawn worked as a paralegal. She enjoyed playing computer games, dancing and had a love for animals.

Dawn was survived by her three sons: Antonio, Diego and Jacob Rodriguez; her mom and step-dad: Phyllis (Ken Wierzba) Levake; and sisters and brothers: Teresa Turner, Susan Cook, Steve (Debra) Cook, Mary Cook, and James Meinelt. She was preceded in death by her father: James W. Meinelt.

A memorial service to celebrate Dawn’s life will be held at 3PM at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th St. Manitowoc, on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 1PM until the time of service at 3PM.
