Delmar L. Meissner, age 98, of Two Rivers passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Unity Hospice in De Pere, WI.
Delmar was born on January 5, 1927, in Two Rivers, a son of the late Edwin and Gladys (Seidl) Meissner. He served his country in the United States Army. On May 2, 1953, Delmar married the love of his life and best friend, the former Carol LeClair, at St. Lukes Catholic Church, Two Rivers. She preceded him in death February 17, 2024. Delmar was a member of the town of Two Rivers Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed bowling and had a knack for gardening, he could make anything grow.
Survivors include his five children: Stacie (Greg) Stan, AZ, Kim (Don) Genin, Kimberly, Brad (Mary) Meissner, Two Rivers, Mary (Rick) Fitzgerald, FL, Peggy Meissner, Two Rivers; three grandchildren: Megan Stan, AZ, Ryan Stan, TX, Nicholas Meissner, Two Rivers; two great-grandchildren: Jayden and Ella; and his best buddy Oscar the cat. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Delmar was preceded in death by his parents: Edwin and Gladys Meissner; his wife Carol Meissner; daughter: Cathy Meissner; one sister: Audrey (John) Gebert; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Private family services were held. Rev. Dave Pleier officiated, and burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
