Donald G. Rank

Donald G. Rank, age 95 of Manitowoc died Saturday morning April 29, 2023, at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Donald was born on January 11, 1928, in Manitowoc, son of the late William and Jennie (Jana) Rank. He was a 1946 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Donald served in the United States Coast Guard from 1945 – 1947. On October 20, 1951, Donald married the former Jeanne Lintereur at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Two Rivers, she preceded him in death on September 9, 2014. He worked as a Pressman for the Herald Times Reporter for 50 years until his retirement in April 1993.

Donald was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and Local #563 Pressman’s Union.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Gregory P. Rank and Karen Lynch, Skippak, PA, Philip G. and Dawn Rank, Manitowoc, Peter D. Rank, Kimberly; one grandson: Joshua Rank, Manitowoc; one brother-in-law: Paul Lintereur, Lewiston, ME; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: William & Jennie Rank; his wife: Jeanne Rank; one brother and sister-in-law: Robert (Jane) Rank; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Marie (Eugene) Koebke, Elaine (Kenneth) Delsman; one brother-in-law: Leo Lintereur.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 5, 2023, at St. Francis of Assisi- Grand location, 1416 Grand Ave., Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am. The Rev. Matt Colle will celebrate the Mass of Christian burial with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
