Donna Mae (Rasmussen) Reznichek

Donna Mae Reznichek, age 83 of rural Reedsville, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. 

The former Donna Mae Rasmussen was born on March 16, 1941 in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Orville and Esther (Schley) Rasmussen. She was a 1959 graduate of Denmark High School. On June 13, 1959 Donna was married to Edward E. Reznichek at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Maple Grove. The couple farmed in the town of Franklin. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw, a 4H Leader, and a member of the Brookside Homemakers and a former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and its St. Patrick’s Alter Society. Donna enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and traveling.

Survivors include her husband: Edward E. Reznichek, Reedsville; five children: Daniel (Dianne) Reznichek, Reedsville, Dale (Gayle) Reznichek, Manitowoc, Julie (David) Jukich, Boca Raton, FL, Terry Reznichek and his special friend Jennifer, St. Nazianz, Wendy (Tom) Hostettler, Hilbert; one daughter-in-law: Sheila Jo Reznichek, Menchalville; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; six sisters and four brothers-in-law: Evie (Gerald) LeClair, Manitowoc, Marie Rohr, Manitowoc, Doris Sitman, Manitowoc, Joyce (Steven) Vetter, Newton, Karen (Terry) Welnicke, Manitowoc, Diane Klein (Al Levenhagen), West Allis; one sister-in-law: Jeri Rasmussen, Manitowoc; one brother-in-law: Leslie Behnke, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Orville and Esther Rasmussen; one son: Edward J. “Eddie” Reznichek; two brothers: Orville K. “Orv” Rasmussen, Kenneth Rasmussen; one sister: Esther Behnke; one brother-in-law: Robert Sitman; one niece: Vicki Vetter; one great nephew: Hayden Rasmussen.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Rev. Richard Klingeisen will Celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment to follow at the Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am.
