Dorothy Blasczyk Obituary

Dorothy Blasczyk, age 86, formerly of Two Rivers passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Manitowoc.

Dorothy was born June 12, 1938, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Arnold and Emma (Richter) Dickman.  She was united in marriage to Daniel Blasczyk on August 18, 1962, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers.  Daniel preceded her in death on February 11, 1975.

Dorothy worked for Mirro in Two Rivers prior to her retirement.  She was a member of Red Hatters and the Senior Center of Two Rivers and Manitowoc.

Survivors include one daughter: Mary Strzok; siblings: Virginia & Lawrence (deceased) Kacmarynski; Herbert & Rosemary Dickman; Darlene & Jim Faugast; 5 deceased brothers; in-laws, the Blasczyk family, Raymond, Richard, & Paul; Marilyn Schultz; the Zywicki family, Roman & Bobbie; & Doris Heyroth; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.  Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial of her remains to take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers next to her husband at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services at 11:00 a.m.
