Dorothy A. Christiansen, age 89 of Whitelaw passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Hamilton Health Service, Two Rivers surrounded by family.
Dorothy was born on December 9, 1932 in Whitelaw, WI daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (Barta) Naidl. She was a 1951 graduate of Valders High School. On June 23, 1956, Dorothy married Donald Christiansen. He preceded her in death on September 18, 2022. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed playing cards and games, canning, gardening, cooking, and watching Polka Joe.
Dorothy is survived by three children: Debra Christiansen, Manitowoc, David (Barbara) Christiansen, Two Rivers, and Darlene Andujo, Texas; three grandchildren: Brian (Nicole) Feda, MN, Kevin (special friend, Amy) Feda, MN, Theodore Christiansen and his fiancée Stephanie Vogel, Two Rivers; six great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Jack (Marcia) Christiansen, Manitowoc; four sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law: Janet Allen, IN, Pat Meulemans, Manitowoc, Karen (Bruce) Hansen, Manitowoc, Dorothy (Van) Neff, Manitowoc, and Gerald Aulik, Manitowoc. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Agnes Naidl; her husband: Donald; one son-in-law: George Andujo; one brother: Harvey Naidl; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Leroy (Audrey) Christiansen, and Robert Christiansen; one sister-in-law: Nancy Aulik; and two brothers-in-law: Jim Allen, and Jack Meulemans.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 21, 2022, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 202 S. Packer Drive Francis Creek, Rev. Christian Raj will officiate. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, October 21, 2022 at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Inurnment at St. Augustine Cemetery, Reifs Mills will immediately follow.
