In Loving Memory of Earl Othmar Wagner
Earl Othmar Wagner, a man of quiet strength and boundless dedication, passed away on January 7th. Born to Wilbert and Elizabeth (Goeser) Wagner at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, Earl carried with him throughout his life the values of hard work, kindness, and a sharp sense of humor.
Earl is survived by his beloved family: He will also be deeply missed by his wife, Kathi (Quella), sons Brent (Becky) Wagner, Chad (Nikki) Wagner, and Erik (Shana) Wagner, along with cherished grandchildren Sydney, Dixon, Ella, Mya, Ella, and Keaton. Along with his siblings Ann (Larry) Eberle, Mark (Carol) Wagner, Jim (Gail) Wagner, Warren (Terry) Wagner, Mary Goebel, Joe (Laura) Wagner, Nick Wagner, and Jane Wagner along with countless nieces and nephews.
Earl took joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid bowler, proud of the perfect 300 game he once achieved. He loved spending time tinkering in his basement workshop, always finding new projects to keep his hands busy. Earl was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan, and whether they won or lost, he happily stressed over every game. There wasn’t a honey-do list he wouldn’t tackle with enthusiasm and care.
After Earl served in Vietnam, he built a remarkable career at Rockline Industries, where he worked his way up to become the Maintenance Manager. Over 47 years, he earned the respect of his colleagues through hard work and unwavering commitment, ultimately retiring after a lifetime of service.
Earl’s legacy lives on in the memories of his family and friends, who will forever cherish the laughter, love, and steady presence he brought to their lives. His spirit will remain a guiding light, reminding all who knew him of the value of a life well-lived.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
