Edward C. Miller, age 49, of Manitowoc, unexpectedly passed away on March 3, 2026.
Edward was born on January 12, 1977 to the late Jeanne and Gordy Miller. Ed attended Washington High School and obtained a GED with high honors. He loved fishing, drawing, cooking, and helping others. Ed worked at a handful of factory jobs including Orion and WAF. Also, he was a Lighthouse Recovery Center coordinator and became a recovery coach. Ed volunteered at Dose of Hope, special outings, and took every opportunity to help another addict. He had a gentle smile and a big heart. Ed also loved music and was inspired by Jelly Roll.
Ed is survived by the mother of his children, Jessica Hill, and their children Devan and Ashley; other siblings: Kage Miller, Maxx Abts, and Alexis Hill; grandchildren: Amelia, Melina, Nevaeh, Deakon, Harleigh, and Briella; brother: Frank Barney; special friend: Jodi Weaver. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ed was preceded in death by his parents: Jeanne & Gordy Miller; daughter: Danielle; and brother: Christopher.
Cremation has occurred at the All-Care Cremation Center. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at a later date.
A memorial dinner, for the public, will be held at First Lutheran Church, 521 N. 8th St., Manitowoc on April 18, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to share memories.
