Eleanor A. Demell

Eleanor A. Demell, age 102, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Complete Care, Manitowoc.

Eleanor was born November 29, 1923 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Hanek) Barta.  She married George Demell on June 28, 1941.  He preceded her in death on February 12, 2011.

Eleanor is survived by her children Franklin (Sandra) Demell, Carol (Rodney) Clark, son-in-law Michael Lichterman (Sandy), 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and one sister Helen Berg, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, son Harold (Carol) Demell, daughter Mary Lichterman, brother Raymond (Betty) Barta, brother-in-law Gerlad Berg, step-sister Delores (Wallace) Zimmerhakel, in-laws Jeanette (Tony) Fadroski, Raymond Demell, Virginia (Claude) Ford, Ann (Don) Brixius and Arthur (Florence) Morreau.

Private Family Services were held.  Burial took place at Tisch Mills Public Cemetery.
