Elroy E. Krueger

Elroy E. Krueger, age 73, a Newton resident passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at his home with his loving family at his side.

Elroy was born on June 18, 1948 to the late Ervin & Ovella (Bosma) Krueger. He served in the United States Army. On September 27, 1969, Elroy married Joan Berg at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. He was employed with Manitowoc Engineering for 42 years until his retirement in 2010.

Survivors include his wife: Joan (Berg) Krueger, Newton; two daughters: Sherri (Brian) Schad, Kiel; Kim (Jon) Rausch, Kiel; two grandchildren: Miranda Rausch (significant other Riley) and Zachary Rausch; two brothers: Donald Krueger, Two Rivers and Myron (Joyce) Krueger, Manitowoc; three sisters-in-law: Pat Krueger, Two Rivers; Candy Krueger, Mishicot and Jan Larson, Manitowoc; brother-in-law: Richard Denzel, Hilbert; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Ervin (Ruth) Krueger Jr and Albert Krueger; two sisters: Louise Krueger and Madaline Denzel; brother-in-law: Doug Larson; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Odin and Liela (Behnke) Berg.

Cremation has occurred and per Elroy’s wishes there will be no services held.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Elroy’s name to Sharon S. Richardson Hospice (W2850 WI-28, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085).

The family would like to thank the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, especially Cariann for the care and compassion provided to Elroy.
