Ervin "Bill" Ploederl Obituary

Ervin W. Ploederl  (Bill)  age 81, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on November 16, 2024  with his family by his side. He was born on Dec 24th 1942.  The son of Violet & Ervin Ploederl. He went to grade school at St. Bonifice School, attended Seminary for 1 year and he graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1961.

Ervin worked for Parker Hannifin and retired after 42 years of service. He married Elearnore  M. Danay on Feb 27,1965.

Ervin was a life long member  of the Eagles Club for over 50 years.  He belonged to the Amvets Post 99, Shoto Conservation Club, and The Duck’s Unlimited. He volunteered many years at Packer Games with the Today’s Youth Group, and ushered for many years at St. Francis of Assisi Parish at  the Marshall and Waldo Blvd sites.  In his younger years Ervin went on annual fishing and deer hunting trips with a great group of friends.  He loved hunting and fishing with his son and grandchildren. He enjoyed playing cribbage. He attended many sporting events of his grandchildren from soccer, T-Ball to baseball, football and he loved going to hockey games and the road trips. He looked forward to the annual planning and planting of the garden. He loved watching the Brewers and Packers play. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.

Ervin is survived by his loving wife Eleanore of 59 years. His children William P. (Deanna) Ploederl, Christine (Jon) Hynek all of Manitowoc.  His grandchildren, Brittney (Robert) Andraschko, Alto TX; Brock (Kim) Ploederl, Green Bay; Jon (Callie) Hynek II, Two Rivers: Trevor Ploederl, Minnetonka ,MN and Kylie Ploederl, Charleston SC. Great Grand Children Carson Adrian, Green Bay WI, Jonah & Ezra Hynek, Two Rivers WI. Reggie Andraschko of Alto TX.

 He is further survived by his sisters Judith (Tom) Dokey, & JoAnn Jaskowski, brothers-in-law Richard (Beverly) Danay, Will Schultz, sister-in-law Diane M Danay. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.  His loyal companion Dodge the cat.

 He is preceded in death by his parents Violet & Ervin. His father-in-law & mother-in-law George & Eleanore Danay. His brother Roger. Brothers-in-law George & Melvin Danay, sisters-in-law Mary Jane Schulz & Diane Danay.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday November 25, 2024 at St Francis of Assisi Waldo Site. (1121 N 14th Street) with burial of his cremated remains in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Manitowoc.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 9:30 AM until time of the service at 11:00 AM .

The Ploederl family would like to thank the doctors and nurses who gave care to Ervin over the years while he battled his cancer. They would like to extend a special thank you to the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice center for the compassion in his final hours. A very special thank you to Ervin’s neighbors Dororthy and Tim for all of their support.
