Eugene "Gene" L. Durocher

Eugene L. “Gene” Durocher, age 76, of Two Rivers passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Hamilton Care Center, Two Rivers.

Gene was born October 19, 1944 in Marinette, son of the late Lloyd and Lucille (Rhode) Durocher.  He was a graduate of Marinette Catholic Central High School with the Class of 1964.  Gene was united in marriage to the former Karen Schultz on September 23, 1972 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Two Rivers.

Gene worked for Hamilton Manufacturing and later Mirro before his retirement.  He enjoyed gardening, camping, dartball and horse shoes.

Survivors include his wife:  Karen Durocher, Two Rivers; his siblings:  Sandy (Jim) Rassmussen, Cold Springs, KY; Cheryl Dura, Marinette; Donna Prausa, Two Rivers; Bonnie (Lenny) Ratzkewitsch, Crivitz; Dennis Durocher, Red Granite; Tammy Maki, Marinette; Debbie (Ted) Wagner, Marinette; sister-in-law and brother-in-law:  Judy & Henry Klein, Plymouth; an aunt:  Beatrice Vanderbusch, Two Rivers; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Gene was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Lucille, one brother James Durocher, three brothers-in-law:  Lawerence Dura, John Maki and Richard Prausa; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law LeRoy and Jean Schultz; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jane & Henry Loeh.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers.  Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial to follow services at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.
