Eugene "Gene" J. Jansen

It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Eugene “Gene” J. Jansen, 58, of Port Washington, WI. Gene was born on October 18, 1967 in Manitowoc, dear son of Dorothy Naidl Jansen and the late Eugene J. Jansen.

He was a 1986 graduate of Lincoln High School and a May 1993 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering. He spent nearly 20 years with Rockwell Automation in Mequon as a senior technical support engineer and project engineer.

Gene is survived by his mother, Dorothy, sister Julie and her husband Jack, his niece, Heather and her husband Zach, nephew Josh and his wife Carissa. He is also survived by three great-nephews, Briar, Owen, and Otto, as well as one great-niece Thisalee. Gene was preceded in death by his father Eugene.

Gene loved animals, being outdoors, watching the Packers, Brewers, and UW Badgers.

Private family services have been held. Our beloved Gene will be greatly missed.
