Eunice J. (Bourgeois) Cox

Eunice J. Cox, age 91, formerly of Menchalville passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Harbor View Assisted Living surrounded by her loving family.

Eunice was born February 9, 1932, in Oconto Falls, WI, daughter of the late John and Priscilla (Trudell) Bourgeois. On November 26, 1949, she married Donald Cox, he preceded her in death on July 3, 2003. Eunice worked for Mirro Aluminum, Lakeside Canning Factory and the Mink Ranch. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, putting puzzles together, bird watching, horseback riding and spending time with her family.

She is survived by five children: Susan (Howard) Stelzer, Taus, Gail (Robert) Stelzer, Taus, Michael Cox (Fiancée Lynn), Manitowoc, Tammy (Dan) Foytik, Brillion, Julie Machado, MO; grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; one sister: Cleo Przybylski, Kaukauna; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Priscilla Bourgeois; husband: Donald Cox; one son: Donnie Cox; one granddaughter: Jennifer Foytik; one brother: John; four sisters: Dorothy, Joyce, Gloria, and Ann; one son-in-law: Manuel Machado.

A private family funeral service was held, at Peace United Church of Christ/ Lakeshore Life Celebration Center, 3613 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc. Deacon Al Boeldt officiated with burial at Calvary Cemetery.
