Floyd T. Klahn

Floyd Thomas Klahn, age 90, of Greenbush went home to be with his Lord on Monday, July 6, 2026.

Floyd was born on August 18, 1935 to the late Neil and Alice (Cudworth) Klahn. He attended Greenbush Elementary School and Glenbelulah High School. In 1969 he married the former Aline Biederwolf and they made their home in Greenbush. He retired from Knowles Manufacturing in Glenbeulah in 2000. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah where he served in many capacities. He was a long-time member of the Thursday night golf league at Crystal Lake Golf Course. Floyd enjoyed golfing, gardening, woodworking, hunting, and trips to the casino. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife to 49 of the 50 states and cruises to the Bahamas and Alaska.

Floyd is survived by his children: Kevin (Kelly) Klahn, of Greenbush, and Kristine (Paul) Mix, of DeForest; 2 grandchildren: Ashley (Michael) Kanngieser and Anthony Klahn; 2 step grandchildren: Cody (Destynee) Lensmire and Cali Lensmire; great grandchildren: Aiden, Aspen, and Atlas Kanngieser and Kincaid Lensmire; special four-legged buddies: Droopy and Sundae; he is further survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Aline Klahn; parents: Neil and Alice Klahn; father-in-law and mother-in-law: George and Virginia Biederwolf; brother and sister-in-law: Merlin and Marion Klahn; sister: Marilyn Klahn; and nephew: Daniel Klahn.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 6:00pm Zion Lutheran Church, Glenbeulah, with Pastor David Blas officiating. Relatives and friends can greet the family at 4:00pm until the time of service at 6:00pm. Floyd will be laid to rest on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 10:00am at Greenbush Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is established in Floyd’s name for Zion Lutheran Church.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Floyd’s daughter-in-law, Kelly, for the extra care she gave him up until the end as well as Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, especially Shannon and Melissa, for their compassionate care.
