Frank A. Wierus

Frank A. Wierus, 80, of Plymouth, WI passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026.

Frank was born on July 18, 1945 in Chicago, IL, beloved son to Frank and Rose Wierus. He attended Kelly High School and after went on to trade school to become a Tool and Die Maker.

Frank grew up in the city but relished his time with family in the country. That’s where he found his love of everything outdoors. He relocated to Plymouth, WI in 1987. A few years after, he opened his own machine shop, AJ Machine, Inc., which he ran for 20 years. During that time he successfully reverse engineered and modified the historic Peabody Rifle, a legendary breechloading rifle from the 1800’s. Before his retirement he established the Providence Tool Company LLC and marketed his renowned creation across the globe. He was also an avid fisherman and restored an all wood 1920’s Hunter Safety Duck Boat by Dan Kidney and Son. He loved all his animals dearly especially his dogs. His passion for camping, horses and firearms lead him to Civil war re-enacting as a Calvary man.

Frank is survived by his wife: Denise Wierus, children: Jaclyn Demers and Anthony (Linnae) Wierus: grandchildren, Jase and June. He is further survived by his neices: Debra (Kevin) Wierus-O’Neill and Laureen (Rich) Segall, and their families. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rose Wierus, and brother Len (Terry) Wierus.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later dated.
