Gary S. Gorychka

Gary Sylvester Gorychka, 70, of Manitowoc passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Holy Family Medical Center.

Gary was born on December 2, 1951 in Manitowoc to Edwin and Frances “Daisy” (Roberts) Gorychka. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. He then began his electrical apprenticeship. He was an Electrician for Anderson Electric. Gary enjoyed boating and riding his motorcycle.

Gary is survived by his children: Brian, Patrick, and Kimberly Gorychka; two grandchildren: Liam and Chase; sister: Jeanne Gorychka; brother-in-law: Bill Hansen; and companion: Judith Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edwin and Daisy Gorychka; and sister: Diane Hansen.

A memorial service to celebrate Gary’s life will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Lakeshore Life Celebration Center (Peace United Church of Christ, 3613 Waldo Blvd.) with Rev. Dr. Matthew Sauer­­­­­­ officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
