Gary A. Loppnow

Gary A. Loppnow, age 76, of Madison passed away on Wednesday evening, October 29, 2025 at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.

Gary was born on January 24, 1949, in Green Bay, a son of the late Gilbert and Dorothy (Brandt) Loppnow. He was a graduate of Reedsville High School in 1967 and then received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. Gary worked for Delta Airlines for many years. He enjoyed traveling throughout the world. 

Survivors include one sister and her husband: Susan Wolfe (Roland Baldwin), Valders; two nephews: Jon Wolfe, Valders, Michael (Rachel) Wolfe, Oostburg; great nieces and great nephews: Dominic, Kelan, Evangeline, and Iris; one uncle and aunt: Robert (Laverne) Brandt, Menchalville; other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Dorothy Loppnow.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Wayside. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
