Gladys M. VanLannen, age 87, of Reedsville, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026 at Complete Care at Manitowoc.
Gladys was born April 21, 1938 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Mary (Weiter) Endries. She married Lawrence VanLannen and he preceded her in death. She worked at Lakeside Foods for many years until her retirement. Gladys enjoyed animals and gardening.
She is survived by three children: Richard “Cowboy” VanLannen and his special friend Julie Clark, Forest Junction, Suzanne (John) Eppinger, Kimberly, Tomas (Stacie) VanLannen, Reedsville; five grandchildren: Roxanne, Chelsea, Kyle, Ethan, and Alex; two sisters: Agnes Youngworth, Green Bay, Norma Pagel, Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Gladys was preceded in death by her mother: May Endries; husband: Lawrence VanLannen; one son: Robert VanLannen; three brothers: Lawrence (June) Endries, Andy (Diane) Endries, Richard Endries; one sister: Marion (Don) Nicholas; two brothers-in-law: Mike Pagel, Tom Youngworth.
A celebration of Gladys’s life with be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. Deacon Al Boeldt will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Mausoleum.
