Gordon David Miller Jr., of Two Rivers, age 73, passed away on August 2, 2025.
Gordon was born on February 5, 1952 in Two Rivers, son of Gordon Miller Sr. He graduated in the early 1970s from Washington High School, Two Rivers WI. Gordon served his country in the United States Army. Significantly during Vietnam, from 1970-1972. Over the years, Gordon was a factory worker, but mostly enjoyed working inside restaurants. He was known for always stepping in and helping out in the kitchen, a repair man around the house, and in the garage on vehicles. He was a “do it all” kind of man. He loved to fish, especially with his son Frank. Any chance he could get, either shoreline or in a boat, those two spent majority of their time on a lake. Gordon also loved hunting. He was known for his “first day of hunting season deer”, which always made the best venison jerky. Gordon was known for his love of telling stories, helping others and always putting everyone else before himself.
Gordon is survived by his children: Frank Barney, Edward Miller, and Ashley Miller; grandchildren: Kayla Vanne, Alexis Vargas, Gage Barney, Devan Miller, Kage Kozlowski, and Maxx Abts; great grandchildren: Aspen Vargas, Lucas Shimkus, Gracie Shimkus, Charlie Shimkus, Navy Shimkus, Harleigh Beeman, Amelia, Melina, Deakon, Nevaeh, and Octavia Barney; siblings: Tina (Neil) Hibelink, Rory, also known as Tarz, Miller, Tarita Miller; Nephew: Trevor Miller; and Nieces: Amy Prelwitz and Meagen Figueroa. He is preceded in death by his Father: Gordon Miller Sr.; granddaughter: Danielle Miller-Koch; and Grandma E;, along with other close family members.
A life celebration will be held at a future date as family members need time to come together and prepare. Gordons wishes were to not have a traditional funeral.
