During his retirement, Gordon spent his winters in Wesley Chapel, FL with his dog Prince at Quail Run RV Park, where in 2005, he met Virginia (Gini) and a year later were married.
Gordon and Gini lived the snowbird lifestyle, spending their winters in Florida and their summers along the shores of Lake Superior with their beloved dogs and cat along for the ride.
Gordy enjoyed making woodworking projects, fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling, playing cards, and having some fun at his local casino. He also loved to eat, especially Gini’s homemade apple pie.
