Grace (Wyman) Kreil

Grace (Wyman) Kreil, age 97 of Manitowoc, is back in the arms of her beloved Harold, Friday, February 17, 2023.

Grace was born in Crandon, WI on July 16, 1925, daughter of the late Ralph and Eva (Thompson) Wyman. In 1927 the family moved to Manitowoc. Grace graduated with the class of 1943 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On July 14, 1945, Grace married Harold T. Kreil First German Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2005. For many years she was employed at S.S. Kresge as a bookkeeper.

Survivors include one son: Jerry Kreil, Freemont, CA; one daughter-in-law: Barbara Kreil, Appleton; three grandchildren: Scott (Krista) Kreil, CA, Rob (Jennifer) Kreil, WI, Jennifer (Troy) Cox, WI; seven great-grandchildren: Kendra, Connor, Sam, Ben, Libby, Madison, and Marcus; brothers-in-law: William Eberhardt, Janesville, WI, Fred Kiekhaefer, Greenfield, WI; one special nephew: James “Jim” (Julie) Kreil, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Eva Wyman; her husband: Harold T. Kreil; one son: Kenneth Kreil; five sisters and three brothers-in-law: Louise Eberhardt, Kathryn Kiekhaefer, Edith (Paul) Maertz, Evelyn (James) Rhode, Gladys (Gerald) Schuster; one brother-in-law: Edward (Bernice) Kreil; one sister-in-law: June (Earl) Stock.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Peace United Church of Christ/Lakeshore Life Celebration Center, 3613 Waldo Blvd, Manitowoc. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with burial to take place at Knollwood Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
