Greg J. Wichlacz

Greg J. Wichlacz, age 52, formerly of Two Rivers, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Green Bay.

Greg was born November 29, 1970 in Two Rivers, son of the late Andrew and Janice (Shikowski) Wichlacz.  He graduated from Riverview School in 1992. After school, Greg worked at Holiday House in Manitowoc until 2020. He also helped his dad working at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Greg continued to use his skills to help clean St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Green Bay with his sister Sharon and nephew Seth.

Greg enjoyed his daily installment of Winnie the Pooh videos and books. Little did the Packers know that their ‘G’ logo really meant Greg. His daily wardrobe included any Packer G-related items. His special “skills” included signing “thank you” and “your cute”. He also had an uncanny way of noticing when you dropped food, made a mistake or burped. Even though Greg could say few words, he could convey love, joy, concern and humor in his own special way.

Survivors include his siblings:  Sharon Wichlacz (Sarah Cross), Green Bay; Wayne (Jolene) Wichlacz, Green Bay; Lee (Paula) Wichlacz, Tarpon Springs, FL; nieces and nephews: Stephanie Wichacz, Alison (Gareth) Baur, David (Sara Hagen) Wichlacz, Michael (Elizabeth Cisewski) Wichlacz, Benjamin (Tyler Kittel) Wichlacz, Rachel Wichlacz, Elizabeth Wichlacz, Seth Cross, Elliot Cross, Abby Wichlacz, and Bennett Wichlacz; great niece and nephew: Nessa Baur and Charles Baur.  Greg was preceded in death by his parents Andrew & Janice Wichlacz, sister Kay Lynn Wichlacz, and nephew Devon Wichlacz.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Green Bay.  Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Bob Kabat with burial to take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
