Gregory “Greg” Koch Obituary

Gregory “Greg” J. Koch, age 59 of Francis Creek, passed away Wednesday morning, December 18, 2024 at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, in Sheboygan Falls following an eighteen year battle of congestive heart failure.

Greg was born on November 3, 1965 in Manitowoc, a son of Leon Koch Sr. and Carol (Baugniet) Koch. He was a 1984 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Following high school and attended Lakeshore Technical College. On May 13, 1989 Greg married the former Amy S. Gosz at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek.

Greg began his working career with JJ Stangel Co. which later became IDG, Industrial Distribution Group and retired in 2012 due to disability. During his disability Greg worked for ADRC – Meal on Wheels as a Meal Site Manager for the Reedsville Manor. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and the Francis Creek Sportsman’s Club.

Survivors include his wife: Amy Koch; one daughter and son-in-law: Lacie (Brandon) Skubal; two grandsons: Brantley and Cooper Skubal; his mother: Carol Koch; his father and step-mother: Leon (Suzanne) Koch Sr.; one brother and sister-in-law: Leon (Penne) Koch Jr.; one sister: Tammy Sepnafski; his father-in-law: Frank Gosz Jr.; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Scott Gosz, Brian (Kandy) Gosz, goddaughter: Amanda (Bryant) Czerniewski and their son: Bennett,  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. Greg was preceded in death by his mother-in-law: Patricia Gosz; and one brother-in-law: Dan Sepnafski.

Greg’s wishes were to be cremated and to have a Celebration of Life, planned for a later date.

Greg’s family would like to thank Dr. Gentile for giving Greg care for the past eighteen years and the nursing staff of Froetdert Holy Family Memorial Medical Center especially Deanna, Nan, and PJ. His family would also like to thank Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for their recent care.
