Harold "Harry" H. Bratz

Harold “Harry” H. Bratz, age 68, of Manitowoc passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at the Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County following a brief battle with cancer.

Harry was born on November 13, 1957 in Manitowoc, a son of the late Howard and Viriginia (Fredrich) Bratz. He was a 1975 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Following high school, Harry received his Dairy Herd Management Degree from LTI. He farmed in the town of Liberty with the Ron and Donna Nagel family and was currently retired from farming.

Harry was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, where he was the current financial secretary and the sexton of the church cemetery. He was also a lifetime member of the Viking Bow and Gun Club. He enjoyed tractor pulls, his card club, and time spent on his pond at the farm.

Harry is survived by his loving and dearest friend: Donna Nagel, Manitowoc; three siblings: Dean Bratz, Manitowoc, Holly (Todd) Brotski, Mishicot, and Scott (Pat) Bratz, Valders; one aunt: Gloria Bratz, Valders; two uncles: Ken Fredreck, IL, and Jim Fredrich, Hilbert; special friend: Mel Behnke, Northeim; special pets: Katie and Sadie; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survived. Harry was preceded in death by his parents: Howard and Virginia Bratz; dear friend: Ron Nagel; and special friend: Carol Baulke.

A funeral service to celebrate Harry’s life will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 11303 Wehausen Road, Manitowoc (Township of Liberty), with Rev. Daniel Foelske will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
