Harriet Lee (Larssan) Rieck, 70, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, passed away on November 10, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 13, 1953, in Key West, Florida, to the late Mary (Craft) and Henry Larssan, Jr. 

Harriet was a kind and people-loving person with a large network of friends. She had a silly and generous nature, and her artistic and musical talents brought joy to those around her. Harriet had a passion for painting, crocheting, and playing the guitar, allowing her creativity to shine through. 

In her professional life, Harriet dedicated her time and skills to her business, Integrity Janitorial Services, where she made a positive impact through her hard work and commitment. 

Harriet was an ordained pastor, served as a leader in women’s Aglow, founded Journey Ministries, and was an integral part of the Upper Room Christian Community. She was an elder at Remedy Church and a founding leader at Renew Church. Harriet also led women’s jail ministry for over 10 years. She loved sharing the word of Jesus everywhere she went. She cherished her faith and the values it instilled in her.  

She is survived by her loving daughter, Dawn (Filiberto) Robledo, and her son, August (Kalia) Rieck. Harriet also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Ashley (Branden) Bizzell, Kirstin (Eugene) Vanderwalt, Luke, Reilly, Elias, Elian, Gavin, Storie, Alleia, and Joey, as well as her great-grandchildren, Lilliana and Kinsley. 

Harriet was preceded in death by her brother, Charles “Danny” Gery, Jr. and her parents, Mary and Henry Larssan, Jr. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 pm, followed by a service to celebrate Harriet’s life at 3:00 pm at The Upper Room Christian Community, 1125 N. 8th Street, Sheboygan. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Upper Room Christian Community, supporting the causes close to her heart. 

The family would like to extend their gratitude for the loving care she received by the staff at Aurora Medical Center of Sheboygan and Countryside Manor. 

Harriet Rieck will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May her kind and loving spirit continue to inspire us all.
