Heather Filliez, age 44, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Samaritans Home, Manitowoc.
Heather was born May 18, 1980 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Richard and Priscilla (Goessl) Filliez. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1998.
Heather enjoyed the time that she spent on the road with Vic Ferrari. As she was an only child, her cousins were very special to her. Heather enjoyed going to the family cabins up north. She was a Boston Bruins Hockey and Dallas Cowboys football fan.
Survivors include aunts & uncles: Chuck Filliez, Lee (Deb) Filliez, Juleen Snyder, Karen (Art) Bangart, Ellen Goessl; she is also survived by many cousins. Heather was preceded in death by her parents Richard & Priscilla Filliez; grandparents: Julius & Marie (Steeber) Filliez; aunts & uncles: Ardis (Manual) Rosado, Trudy (Jerry) Dhein, Steven Snyder, Sharlene Kasper, Cynthia Kaufman, Madeleine Urban; cousins: Bob Pelisek, Troy Bangart, Jason Snyder.
Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand (1416 Grand Avenue). Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Doug LeCaptain with burial of her remains to take place at Evergreen Cemetery at a later day.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the services at 3:00 p.m.
